University of Kentucky Selects KI Furnishings

GREEN BAY, Wis.-The University of Kentucky’s Auxiliary Services Division asked students, faculty and staff to rank furniture from eight manufacturers as part of a selection process. KI’s residence hall furniture finished among the top two spots and has been placed in two of four new residence halls that opened in August.

The university selected loft beds, cabinets, dressers and wardrobes from the company.

The university’s four new residence halls offer students the comforts of home. Each floor of residential space houses a full kitchen, laundry facilities and two study areas. Each hall also contains a fully wired classroom that seats up to 30 students; wireless data connections in all common areas; a faculty office; large lounge areas; 50-inch Plasma televisions with DVD players and Surround Sound systems; and security cameras and door access controls. In addition, three halls include gas fireplaces.
