Carlisle Acquires Premier Building Systems

CARLISLE, Pa. — Building materials supplier Carlisle Construction Materials acquired Premier Building Systems, a manufacturer of structural insulated panels headquartered in Fife, Wash.

Premier’s full line of standard and custom products will now be offered by Carlisle . The company’s building panels feature a layer of expanded polystyrene insulation sandwiched between two structural pieces of oriented strand board, and can be used in the construction of walls, floors and roofs in commercial and residential buildings.

Premier Building Systems joins seven other companies that make up Carlisle Construction Materials, which include Carlisle SynTec, Versico, EcoStar, Hunter Panels, Carlisle Coatings and Waterproofing, Hardcast and Insulfoam.
