NEC Rewards Star Student Participants with Cash

CHICAGO — NEC Display Solutions of America, a provider of commercial and residential LCD and plasma displays and projectors, expanded its Star Student program to include cash rewards to participating schools.

The program provides visual displays for institutions and rewards the schools for purchasing large-format LCD and plasma displays from 32 inches to 65 inches. The company replaced it EDUwards points program with the cash-back incentive and offers previous participants the option to convert points to cash.

Rewards come in the form of a debit card that is mailed directly to the school and can be spent on anything the school chooses, from any store. Schools can register online at www.necstarstudent.com.
