Brook Louis Meier

Brook Louis Meier has joined the Milwaukee office of architecture and experience design firm Kahler Slater as a project leader in the firm’s higher education practice area. In his new role, Meier will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing project teams and leading design efforts on a variety of higher education projects across the country. Previously, he was in Kolkata, India for five years, where he was a founder and director of Research Design Office, an architecture firm. Meier has served as the lead designer on many projects, including the J.P. Sahu Institute’s first college campus in Siliguri, India, the Sindhi Cultural Centre in Gujarat, India, and a new 1,800-unit low-income housing development in Kolkata. He also served as the head of business development in Asia for Avent LLC as a project designer at Vetter Denk Architecture in Milwaukee, and as a designer at La Dallman Architects in Milwaukee. Meier has a Master of Architecture degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and a Bachelor of Arts degree with an emphasis in architecture from the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis.
