Christopher Rice

Hord Coplan Macht (HCM) announced that Christopher Rice, AIA, has joined the firm as principal in its education studio. With more than 30 years of experience in the field, Rice will help grow HCM’s national campus master-planning practice with focused efforts in the southern U.S. and Texas. Rice brings a wide range of experience to HCM, including his involvement in master plans for more than 30 higher education campuses around the United States as well as various research parks, downtown urban plans, healthcare and government facilities. Prior to joining HCM, Rice was partner at VisSpiro Strategies, a higher education planning and consulting firm, which he co-founded in 2013. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Texas at Arlington and a Master of Architecture from the University of Maryland.
