DLR Group has welcomed Gretchen Holy, Assoc. IIDA, to the firm. As a principal and leader in the firm’s Kansas City studio, Holy will play an essential role to elevate interior design services locally and nationally. She’ll focus primarily on the design of higher education facilities.
Holy brings more than 25 years of interior design experience, including 15 years leading projects for higher education clients. She appreciates the unique intricacies of each campus and creates interior design solutions that support a campus’ vision, mission, and goals. Holy has worked with public colleges and state and private institutions to design a variety of spaces that enhance learning and contribute to a student’s social development.
Holy believes in the value of industry involvement and community leadership opportunities. She was president elect, president, and past president of the International Interior Design Association Mid-America Chapter from 2016-2018 and continues to serve as a mentor to young designers through the chapter’s Leading the Way program. She’s also active with the Kansas State University Interior Design Dean’s Advisory Board. Holy earned her bachelor’s degree in interior design from Kansas State University.
