Leslie Ashor

Leslie Ashor, AIA, LEED AP, has joined HOK as a senior principal and firm-wide director of Science + Technology (S+T). Ashor, a registered architect in California, will be based in HOK’s San Francisco studio and work on projects worldwide. She joins Randy Kray, AIA, and Timothy O’Connell, AIA, as directors of the firm’s global S+T group.

A recognized leader in the sector, Ashor has dedicated the past two decades to research and laboratory facilities. She has led the lab planning, programming and design for more than 150 projects, including multiple R&D Magazine “Lab of the Year” award winner.

Ashor has spoken at dozens of worldwide conferences and authored numerous articles and reports. She is a member of the Architectural Board of the Scientific Equipment and Furniture Association (SEFA), the International Institute for Sustainable Labs (I2SL), Society for College and University Planning (SCUP), American Institute of Architects (AIA) and Australian Institute of Architects (AIA). She earned a Bachelor of Architecture from Washington State University.
