Aiphone introduces the JK series, a line of PTZ color-video intercom systems. The product line offers nearly twice the viewing width as conventional video intercoms and uses a digitally processed fish-eye camera lens to provide distortion-free video, according to the company. Cameras can be preset to display a specified entrance area. Intercom systems feature a 3.5-inch direct-view monitor.

Hitachi America, Ltd., added the CP-A200 3LCD to its collection of ultra-short-throw projectors. The CP-A200 offers a brightness of 3,000 lumens and can display a 60-inch diagonal image from a throw distance of 18.5 inches. These characteristics not only help prevent image obstruction, but also eliminate shadows interfering with the image, according to the company.

The system is designed for kindergarten through 12th grade classrooms. The system is designed so a teacher can control the system through a wall panel or lectern controller.

The Ridge Tool Company introduces the Ridgid SeeSnake LCD monitor and DVD for use with SeeSnake camera reels. The high-resolution monitor and DVD system provides users with digital recording capabilities with a design that weighs 25 pounds. The color monitor is 10.4 inches and has a resolution of 640 x 480.

The SRP-X500P, a digital powered mixer, router and amplifier, is available from Sony Electronics Inc.

Designed for a variety of AV applications, the mixer features a range of system control options that can provide classrooms, boardrooms and small to mid-sized conference rooms with audio and video interconnectivity.

The unit includes a video switcher, wireless microphone slots, integrated wireless tuner slots, wireless control capability and a built-in four-channel amplifier.
