DOCUMENT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

Deacom Inc. introduces the Electronic Document Management system, a recent addition to its accounting and enterprise resource planning software.


The product allows any electronic files, such as JPEG, Word or Excel files, to be attached to any sales order, item master, customer, vendor or accounting transaction within the resource planning software. Once a document is saved in the software system, designated users can view it.


All files are stored in a SQL database that offers data corruption protection.

The PD 38 Laser Range Meter, a measuring tool with image sketching capability, is available from Hilti Inc.


The device can calculate areas, volumes and complex geometric measurements, and is accurate up to 1/16-inch. Users can sketch measurements on a picture and save the image in standard picture format.
