CHESTERFIELD — It appears the new, $37 million Chesterfield Elementary School has met with another delay.

The Montgomery County School Board approved a resolution requesting capital construction funds from the Montgomery County Board of Supervisors for two area high schools.

For the first time in recent history, there are no new Broward schools construction projects on the books for this year — only two high school construction projects, which began last year with federal stimulus money, will be completed.
