Determan specializes in the design of K-12 private and public schools and university buildings. Determan is the past president of the American Institute of Architect’s Baltimore office, and a former regional director for the AIA.

Ariz. County Passes $447 Million in School-Construction Bonds
PHOENIX — Voters in the south central Arizona county of Maricopa passed seven of eight school-construction bonds totaling $447 million. All seven bonds passed with at least a 60 percent vote, according to reports of the unofficial election results.
The seven districts to pass bonds include Scottsdale USD ($118 million); Kyrene Elementary SD in Tempe, Ariz.
