Munters’ DryCool dehumidifier combines exhaust enthalpy recovery and condenser reactivation desiccant processes to efficiently treat outside air. As makeup air flows through the enthalpy recovery wheel, it is cooled by a DX cooling coil and dried by a Munters HoneyComb desiccant wheel. The system can lead to a 40 percent savings on energy in commercial buildings with outside air requirements and dehumidification needs, according to the company. It can also qualify for LEED credits.
