Rick Dewar

Rick Dewar is now the new national practice leader for Wight & Company in the PreK-12 education sector. Based in Illinois, Dewar brings 27 years of experience from OWP/P where he previously served as principal and board member. He was also a member of the Board of Directors for the OWP/P Cannon Designs Design/Build business. During his tenure at OWP/P, Dewar led the firm’s K-12 group, and his most recent focus was on growing the firm’s national K-12 practice with a heavy emphasis on markets outside of Chicago. Throughout his career, Dewar has been actively involved in the Illinois Association of School Business Officials and several national organizations, including CEFPI. He is a graduate of Iowa State University.
