University of Glasgow Embarks On More New Construction

GLASGOW, Scotland — Building on 2010-2015 strategic plan growth, the University of Glasgow is now moving forward on the design and construction of a new 150,000-square-foot research building on it’s 74-acre Gilmorehill Campus. The $58 million project will provide a state-of-the-art facility for university researchers to investigate significant global challenges including energy demand and waste management. Joseph Sanches

D. Stephenson Construction Inc., the largest African American-owned general contracting firm in Florida, announced the appointment of Joseph Sanches as the company’s new president. Sanches has been with the firm for almost three years, previously serving as executive vice president. Prior to joining the company, Sanches was chief of support operations for the Palm Beach County School District, where he oversaw more than $2 billion in capital improvements.
