The devices allow students feeling threatened to simply push a button on the device, alerting campus security to their specific GPS coordinates.
COTE Awards Celebrates 3 Educational Facilities
PHILADELPHIA — The American Institute of Architects’ (AIA) Committee on the Environment (COTE) honored three educational buildings as part of the 2016 COTE Top Ten Awards, held last month at the AIA Convention in Philadelphia.
Barry Oliver
Barry Oliver, AIA, has joined Hastings+Chivetta Architects as a contract administrator. In his new role, Oliver will assist with the quality control review process and represent clients’ interests during construction. Oliver has developed a thorough knowledge of specifications, building codes and construction contracts as well as the design and construction process through his work as a contract administrator, architect and project manager for over 33 years.
Parking Garage Luminaire
