The Springfield Township Middle School and Erdenheim Elementary School construction projects are still on target to get kids back to school on time, Facilities Director Roy Johnson told the school board Tuesday.

School officials at one Centre County school district are dispelling rumors that the first day of classes will be delayed due to lengthy construction work.

Three schools, Bellingrath Hills Elementary, Tanglewood Elementary and Central High, needed $7 million worth of renovations before students could come back.

This school year in the Bedford area school district, Bedford Middle School students will join Bedford High School students.
