Williams Scotsman Expands Storage Fleet

BALTIMORE-Williams Scotsman Inc, a provider of mobile and modular buildings, announced that it would augment its storage fleet with an additional 2,500 brand new containers in 2005. The units will be made available nationwide through its network of local sales offices.

Highly popular double-door access will be available on 2,200 of the new containers. Both 20-foot and 40-foot lengths will be offered. The new containers will also feature high-security locking systems for maximum protection against theft and vandalism. The company will still continue to offer units from its existing storage fleet, which includes an array of sizes ranging from 10- to 40-feet in length.

Williams Scotsman is a national provider of mobile and modular building solutions for the construction, education, commercial, health care and government markets. The company operates a fleet of nearly 100,000 mobile office and storage units that are leased through a network of over 90 locations throughout North America. The company provides delivery, installation, refurbishment and other services, and sells new and used mobile office products. In addition to its core leasing business, the Modular Building Division of Williams Scotsman manages and develops large permanent modular construction projects.
