Built-in Combination Locks
Zephyr Lock offers a built-in combination lock for school lockers. The locks have extra-long, fully retracting spring latches for greater surface grip and added security. Nine pre-set but changeable combinations are available, along with a high-security master key system that permits supervisory access and control.
The built-in locks are designed to fit nearly all traditional lockers. The solid die-cast housing and stainless steel escutcheon offer corrosion resistance. The product has a slip-resistant dial that allows for better grip and comes with a nine-year warranty.
Electronic Padlock System
Videx announces CyberLock electronic padlocks, which bring key control and an audit trail of every opening to padlocks. A standard padlock can be quickly converted into a fully functioning access control system by replacing its mechanical cylinder with a CyberLock electronic cylinder, according to the company.
Mortise Locks
Marks USA, a manufacturer of ANSI grade-one mortise locks, has standardized its locks using investment cast stainless steel for both the latch and deadbolt. The latch is assembled with steel friction-proof fingers so doors can be closed using less pressure. The deadbolt is constructed with two hardened steel pins to resist sawing.

ImageWare’s EPI Suite is a photo ID software for organizations to create, manage, produce, and check basic-to-complex secure identification. EPI Suite is currently used for developing ID cards and credentials in the education market. Communications Systems
Wheelock offers a variety of computer-based tools to assist the design and installation of fire alarm, voice evacuation and facility communications systems. Among these tools is NACTool, which enables users to build NAC circuits using the company’s notification appliances. The program calculates the number of appliances per circuit, as well as the total length and wire gauge, percentage of voltage drop and speaker wattage.
