COOL ROOF
Met-Tile Inc. has released its new “cool roof” line, which combines weather protection with energy efficiency.
Combining the look of tile with the functionality of metal, the product line uses an architectural coating system that provides solar reflectivity, allowing roof surfaces to stay cooler longer. Due to the product’s cooling properties, roofing surfaces should be less subject to chemical and atmospheric degradation, according to the company. The product line carries a 230+ mph wind rating and Class 4 rating for impact resistance.
