Long-Range RFID Reader

AAID Security Solutions offers a long-range RFSD emergency evacuation and mustering product that is designed for school campuses. The system uses hands-free RFID readers that allow school officials, local authorities and first-responders to locate students, staff and visitors inside a building during an emergency.

Zone coverage can track multiple tags simultaneously in one location with adjustable ranges from 6 inches to about 2,000 feet. The adjustable directional and omni-directional antennas are installed in a facility’s ceilings, walls and other discreet areas and readers use a passive technology that does not interfere with other electronic equipment or jam other readers.
