The new gym under construction at Hilltop High School was broken into in the early hours of May 9. An unknown number of individuals broke into the gym and vandalized the gym floor causing over $5,000 in damage.

Marple Commissioners voted 6-0, May 10, to borrow and issue a general obligation note for $500,000 to finance the former Marple Grade School demolition and park construction project. The loan and note will be negotiated with TD Bank.
