HOLLYWOOD, Fla. (WSVN) — Construction delays will keep brand new Beachside Montessori Village from opening its doors on time for the start of the 2010-2011 school year, and that has left its students’ parents spitting mad.
About $7 million to $8 million worth of upgrades will have been completed when the next school year starts at the Greece Central School District.
Poor roof construction on the newest school building in Oshkosh will cost the district $500,000 to repair. Several key parts of the roof over Carl Traeger elementary and middle school were not installed properly or omitted during construction according to a recent audit.
