ORD — Construction and renovation at the Ord Public Schools has displaced some of the office workers for the summer, but it will be worth it.

Waterman Construction Management Inc. of Barrington has partnered with Cranston High School West students to design new bus shelter for Roger William Zoo and RIPTA. Four student’s have worked with Cranston West faculty Valerie Bruzzi and Michael Del Rosso (son of Beverly Del Rosso President Waterman Construction Management).

Taking the final step to pay for the construction of the new Silverland Middle School in Fernley, and also to pay down some outstanding debt, the Lyon County School Trustees, on July 13, adopted a 2010 bond resolution to sell an estimated in $5 million in bonds.
