In a letter to parents this week, Donna McCormick-Miller, principal of Makefield Elementary School, said the school’s new opening day will be Tuesday, Sept. 7, instead of Sept. 1 due to the ongoing renovation and construction at the school.

Turner Construction Company, the nation’s largest builder of education facilities, has completed sixteen K-12 school projects to serve more than 12,450 students in time for the start of the 2010 school year in Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky.
