STEVENSVILLE – The Stevensville School is working on replacing buildings on its campus that were built in the early 1900S. The school will be tearing down its junior high building which was built in 1901 and the 4th-6th grade building which was built in the 1920s.
In a letter to parents this week, Donna McCormick-Miller, principal of Makefield Elementary School, said the school’s new opening day will be Tuesday, Sept. 7, instead of Sept. 1 due to the ongoing renovation and construction at the school.
