Georgia Technical College System to Upgrade HVAC Systems
ATLANTA — The Technical College System of Georgia hired Parrish Construction Group to manage building renovations on its Atlanta Technical College campus.
Based in Perry and Alpharetta, Ga., the construction firm specializes in building academic facilities throughout the state.
The college system hired the design-build team of Parrish Construction and NBP Engineers to renovate existing HVAC systems in three buildings that had problems with temperature and humidity control, according to a statement from the company.




Everett-based construction firm BOND welcomes industry veteran Denise Marien to the company as Director of Client Development. In her new position, Marien will be responsible for implementing a strategic business development plan for the firm. Marien will work closely with the senior management team, including newly hired BOND Vice President Frank Hayes to ensure the firm reaches its long-term goals.
Viracon, an architectural glass fabricator, promolted Kelly Schuller to president of the company. Schuller previously served as the company’s senior vice president in sales and marketing. Before joining Viracon, he served as Apogee vice president, strategy and business development for four years.
WHR Architects recently named Peter de la Mora as its new Director of Client Development. De la Mora will continue to work closely with the practice leaders across the firm’s offices in Houston, Dallas and Washington, D.C. With more than 10 years at the firm, de la Mora has worked for the Healthcare Studios and the Education Science and Technology Studio.
