President/CEO Jim McGarry of the National School Supply and Equipment Association was recently elected to the Executive Committee of the Coalition for Green Schools, organized by the U.S. Green Building Council. In this role, McGarry will provide leadership in supporting the mission, vision and objectives of the National School Supply & Equipment Association, a trade organization whose mission is to increase the productivity of the channel; provide networking opportunities to build relationships with trading partners; and deliver market information and training in which to make solid business decisions to represent the educational marketplace. McGarry has primary responsibility over the execution of the association’s strategic and operating plans and its corresponding budgets.
