Ideal for recording audio or videos of presentations and lectures, the system’s audio settings can be adjusted to safe and/or special hearing levels.


Former University of Colorado architect Steve Thweatt, who was instrumental in building the ATLAS technology hub and the Wolf Law Building, as well as implementing the business school expansion, will return to the CU-Boulder campus as the executive director of facilities management. Thweatt currently serves as an associate vice president of planning, design and construction at Emory University.

RALEIGH, N.C. — SfL +a Architects have announced the approval to build Sandy Grove Middle School, the first public-private partnership (P3) financed school in North Carolina and the second of its kind in the U.S.
MARIETTA, Ga. — The Cobb County School District is set to wrap up construction on a number of major projects throughout the district. Seventeen schools are on track to open by the time school begins on August 13, with the exceptions of Garrett and McCleskey middle schools.
SANTA MONICA, Calif. — It’s an expensive summer for Santa Monica High School. The school is currently under construction with a $55 million, 97,000-square-foot Science and Technology Building, which will replace two existing and outdated facilities with one modern facility.
DURHAM, N.C. — A new middle school will open in Durham, N.C., just in time for the 2012-2013 school year. Lucas Middle School, part of Durham Public Schools, is also seeking LEED certification for the $25 million project.
