The Haiku by Big Ass Fans is available in several optional finishes, including caramel bamboo, cocoa bamboo, white matrix composite and black matrix composite. The bamboo doesn’t feature typical fan blades, but rather moso bamboo, coated with a solvent-free finish to provide smooth airflow without rattling or wobbling. Its power is generated from a cool-running inverter, delivering up to 80 percent improvement in energy efficiency, according to the company. The Haiku features various control settings, including sleep, timer, reverse and variable speed settings.
