Tori Johnson

Memphis-based Varco Pruden (VP) Buildings, a division of BlueScope Buildings North America Inc., has named Tori Johnson the company’s product market analyst. Varco Pruden provides innovative steel building systems for low-rise commercial and industrial applications, including offices, warehouses, schools, manufacturing and retail projects. Johnson will be responsible for the innovation, research and testing of the company’s products and will help create or modify existing products to meet current pre-engineered building demands. She also will develop business cases for markets or product opportunities and conduct analysis on ideas as set forth through the project governance program. She will be based at the BlueScope research and testing facility in Grandview, Missouri. A VP employee in Evansville, Wis. for 24 years, Johnson has served as an estimator for the last eight years. She has also held positions in detailing, customer service and project management. Johnson recently earned a Bachelor of Science in accounting at Upper Iowa University where she was a summa cum laude graduate. She is a member of the Wisconsin Historical Society and the IMA Association of Accountants and Financial Professionals in Business.
