J. Bradley Creed

Trustees of Campbell University, located in Buies Creek, N.C., have named J. Bradley Creed the university’s next president. Creed is currently provost and professor of religion at Samford University, prior to which he served as dean of the George W. Truett Seminary at Baylor University. Creed received a Bachelor of Arts in religion from Baylor University, graduating cum laude. He later earned a master’s degree in divinity and a Ph.D. in philosophy from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas. He pursued further study through Harvard University’s Management Development Program and in the Spanish language program at Academia Hispano Americano in Mexico.
