Dr. Gillian Chapman is the new superintendent of Teton County School District No. 1 in Jackson, Wyo., and will replace outgoing Superintendent Pam Shea. Chapman currently serves as the associate superintendent of Shawnee Mission Unified School District in Shawnee Mission, Kan. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in French at Pepperdine University before receiving her master’s degree in curriculum and instruction from Central Missouri State University, as well as a teaching certificate. She has also taught in the education department of the University of Saint Mary for six years. Chapman will officially begin her new duties on July 1.
