Colorful new drums from Playworld Systems create an interactive musical playground experience. The products can be added to existing play structures or be grouped with the company’s bells and chimes to create a separate music center.

Played like bongos and available in varying lengths and diameters, each drum creates a different sound. Free-standing options include single- and triple-drum tables in a variety of color choices. A set of two drums can be placed on a panel and installed at either ground or deck level.

The new Trippple Racer from Playworld Systems Inc. allows children to participate in activities as a group. The curved design adds an element of excitement while the three slide heights of 48 inches, 63 inches, and 78 inches provide a variety of challenge levels.

The sit-down bars have safety handgrips and the slide entrance is grooved for traction and water drainage. The Trippple Racer can be combined with the company’s new Spine Climber.

Playground Sonic Slide

Playworld Systems offers products that promote both traditional play-time activities and innovative events, allowing clients to create playgrounds that are challenging, safe, and interesting, the company says.

The company’s new Sonic Slide is designed to fit most play spaces and offers a choice of five different configurations, including installation from heights of eight or nine feet.

The unit is segmented for design flexibility and has an overhead handgrip to help children position themselves for sliding and to reduce the risk of falls.

Educational Panels

With the alphabet on one side and numbers on the other, the new ABC/123 Panel from Playworld Systems Inc. is designed to help kids learn. The panel helps teach younger kids the letters of the alphabet-both upper and lowercase-and teaches older kids word-building skills.

As students master the alphabet, the company says they can then move on to the other side of the panel and learn to identify their numbers.

SkateWave, a division of Landscape Structures Inc., created a modular Skatepark system that consists of customizable components, including ramps, rails, quarter-pipes, mini half pipes, jumps, pyramids, spines, fun boxes, and launch boxes. The parts can be reconfigured.

The company says it designed SkateWave to address school and park directors’ four most critical needs: flexibility, interchangeability, durability, and safety.

The Star Seeker challenges children with three separate climbing routes supported by a mast-like central steel post. It can accommodate many children at one time, and can be used as an independent play event or linked directly to a PlayBooster play system.
