Loci Architecture to Design Brooklyn School
NEW YORK CITY — Brooklyn Prospect Charter School has selected Loci Architecture of New York to expand the school’s Windsor Terrace campus. The innovative expansion will include converting part of an existing church convent to classrooms and offices, and is expected to take place this summer.


FT. KNOX, Ky. — Construction will begin next month on Kingsolver-Pierce Elementary School, a United States Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) 21st Century Education institution. The new school will replace and consolidate two older elementary schools, and will accommodate 635 students, grades PK-5.
SANTA BARBARA, Calif. — The University of California, Santa Barbara has selected Sundt Construction Inc. to build the school’s new $38.5 million Henley Hall Institute for Energy Efficiency. Sundt’s Irvine, Calif. location will serve as construction manager at risk for the 53,000-square-foot project.
BOSTON — Officials from the Massachusetts School Building Authority (MSBA) recently approved up to $37.3 million to support construction of the Dearborn STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) Academy.
SANTA ANA, Calif. — The Orange County School of the Arts (OCSA) announced the launch of a capital campaign for a new state-of-the-art expansion. The new construction will be a first for the Santa Ana-based school, which to date has occupied repurposed commercial buildings.
LAS CRUCES, N.M. — The first phase of renovations to Las Cruces High School is now underway. The $36 million construction project will revitalize numerous facilities across the 60-year-old campus, and include two new structures.
