Fire Sensor

The Acclimate, a new intelligent fire sensor, is available from System Sensor. Acclimate was developed by incorporating software to automatically adjust to the local environment. As opposed to a fire system operator setting the detector’s operating parameters based on historical data for each location, Acclimate removes that process by automatically learning the environment and optimizing the performance for each location.

Additional software was developed to minimize the effects of unwanted transient alarm sources, while enhancing the response time to fast fires, which is accomplished by monitoring both the current environment and trends in signal, e.g., increasing heat or decreasing photo-signal.
