Color Kinetics, Litecontrol Reach OEM Pact

BOSTON — Lighting industry companies Color Kinetics Inc. (NASDAQ: CLRK) and Litecontrol Corp. have signed an OEM agreement whereby Litecontrol will offer an LED-based product line that uses Color Kinetics technology.

Litecontrol will expand its interior architectural lighting fixtures portfolio with three LED-based offerings. The products will be based on Color Kinetics’ Digital Light Engines, which use a patented technology to generate colored light and color-changing effects.

The first products will reach the market in spring as the LC-Euro Collection.
