The Maxim 33 Access Power Controller, a low-voltage power device, is the latest addition to the Altronix line of power controller products.


The product interfaces with access control panels and routes power to different types of access control devices, including magnetic locks, electric strikes, door holders, card readers and biometrics.


Using two eight-output access power controllers, the product features 16 independently controlled wet/dry outputs, and each of the two controller outputs can be configured to offer 12 volt and/or 24 volt DC power, up to 12 amperes. All outputs come with built-in latching or non-latching fire alarm interfaces. The product also includes a monitor for AC power failure, low battery and battery presence.
