Stainless Steel Epoxy Paint

A stainless steel epoxy paint system is available from Stainless Steel Coatings Inc. The Steel-It paint system creates a hard, abrasion- and salt-resistant finish for food and fish processing, water treatment and pollution control.

The system consists of an epoxy primer and a finish coating with 316L stainless steel leafing pigment that creates a durable, chip-resistant metallic barrier. It is deigned to protect ferrous metals and is made to fight the corrosive effects of salts, oils, detergents and solvents. The product is USDA-approved for use in food processing and conveying in the case of accidental or occasional contact with food.

The steel coating has a gray satin finish, and it can be applied by roller, brush or spray-gun. It is available in gallon and quart kits.
