Marlite Inc. introduces Myriad Wall Systems, a pre-engineered hardware system of extruded aluminum framework that can be used with interchangeable panels. The system allows a wide variety of materials to snap in and out of the framework, enabling users to mix, match, accent, change and illuminate wall statements.
The frames can be removed with a putty knife or plastic burnishing tool, and are available in transparent, translucent, opaque and custom-made models.
The Steel It is a stainless steel epoxy system from Stainless Steel Coatings Inc. that protects above-water structures from water, salt air, detergents and solvents. It consists of an epoxy primer and finish coating with a 316L stainless steel leafing pigment that creates a gray satin finish.
The paint is available in gallon and quart kits, and can be applied by brush, roller or spray gun. It is chip-resistant and forms a protective metallic barrier capable of withstanding a continuous 2,000-hour salt spray test.
Boral Bricks Inc. manufactures the Thin Brick, a flat brick for wall installations designed to provide the appearance a real brick façade. The bricks are .75 inch thick, weigh less than one pound per piece, and can be installed flush with surfaces such as doors and window sills.
They feature a rough, handmade texture and are offered in variety of colors, including gray-taupe, traditional red, rustic brown and caramel-gray.
