Valley High School Principal Gary Hurt says he’s spearheading a phone-call effort to change the mind of legislators. The principal says Valley has had no construction in more than 30 years and renovations are needed due to the Fort Knox expansion.
BROOKVILLE — The school board last week approved the estimated construction costs and the advertising for bids for a new pre-kindergarten through third-grade building to replace Westbrook Elementary.The new school will be built on land adjoining the district’s fourth- through 12th-grade building.
