Maggie Dolan was recently named to lead DLR Group’s Higher Education initiatives as principal and campus planning leader from the firm’s Orlando studio. With more than a decade of experience in planning consultation and higher education administration, Dolan has partnered with 65-plus institutions on master plans, space assessments, capital budgets and building projects. Dolan began her career as a space analyst, grounding her approach to architecture in thoughtful space planning. Skilled at connecting big-picture ideas to key details, she helps institutions discover the pieces that tell their story and guide their future. She believes early, deep engagement always pays dividends and emphasizes DLR Group’s role in amplifying different perspectives while building trust and support. Dolan holds a Master of Business Administration from Georgia State University as well as a Master of Social Work from Boston College. She previously served as director of planning and assistant vice chancellor for academic innovation for the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia.
