Dirt turned for middle school

The Pulaski County Special School District is in the rare position among central Arkansas school systems of building two brand-new campuses at the same time a new high school in Maumelle and a middle school in Sherwood. Construction of the $58 million, 1,500-student high school to replace Oak Grove High has been under way for a while.
