Ergonomic Classroom Chair
The PantoMove swivel chair by VS has a dynamic seat surface with a patented 3D tilt mechanism. In this way, it provides the optimum preconditions for ergonomically sensible dynamic sitting. The PantoMove is infinitely height-adjustable — from a seat-surface height of 13 3/8 – 16 ≤ inches or from 16 5/8 to 20 ∏ inches. A stool version with foot ring is also available. Its height ranges from 18 ∏ – 26 3/8 inches. The chair follows every movement of the body, simultaneously prompting the posture to change continuously, which increases the blood circulation and therefore the oxygen supply of the brain keeping students alert and concentrating. Compared to chairs with rigid seat surfaces and frames, important muscle groups are in this way activated without tensing in the process, according to research by the Federal Working group on Posture and Exercise in Wiesbaden, Germany. The chair comes in a number of colors, allowing customization of the color scheme for classrooms.
