Peter Pepper Products introduced its SyncTech 2.4 GHz Wireless Synchronized Time System, a wireless network offering facility-wide time synchronization and emergency messaging. Designed specifically for select analog and digital clocks from Peter Pepper Products, SyncTech employs a master clock that obtains time updates from a network timeserver, and optionally from a GPS receiver. The master clock then transmits the signal to clocks once every second. Battery-operated clocks within the system repeat the signal clock-to-clock, up to 150 feet, throughout an entire building or campus.

Gerflor, a manufacturer of multipurpose resilient sports flooring, offers Taraflex sports flooring with low VOC emissions. Designed to help improve indoor air quality, the flooring system consists of VOC emissions of less than 100 grams per meter cubed, according to the company. Mean Green doubled the amount of chelating agent for enhanced cleaning performance.

Easily activated switches are added to Dortronics’ line of access control solutions. Made with an embedded optical sensor that picks up motion within a four-inch range of the faceplate, the 5278 series of activated switches give user access with a wave of the hand. The switches also feature illuminated LED rings for visibility under low light conditions.

Available as single or double plates, the 5278 series units are designed for easy installation and integration with card access systems, according to the company.

The ice level is managed through ultrasonic sensors for customized ice production levels based on demand to save energy and water, according to the company. The line also allows users to monitor multiple machines remotely.
