District Roots for the Home Team as New Track Nears Completion
BELOIT, Wis. — On your mark, get set…go! Track athletes at Beloit Turner High School in Beloit, Wis., will now be able to host a home meet, thanks to a $1.2 million track renovation.
The school was unable to host a track meet for the last two years due to the track’s poor condition, making it unsuitable for athletes, according to Brad Boll, business manager for Beloit Turner School District.


Jason Morgan has been promoted to vice president of operations at Cadence McShane Construction Company. Based at the firm’s Houston office, Morgan will lead and supervise project management and field staff, ensuring all contract requirements and specifications are met, including safety practices.
Newly appointed South Florida project manager for Charles Perry Partners Inc. (CPPI), Brian J. Hayes will be based in the firm’s southern Florida office in Vero Beach. Hayes rejoined the company in 2009, having earlier served as project manager until 2003. Under his leadership, CPPI recently completed modifications to the Indian River School District Thermal Energy Storage Plants.

Peter Ellis will now lead partners Cannon Design and New Cities in expanding the firms’ urban planning and city design practices. Ellis worked for Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM) for 30 years prior to establishing New Cities.
