Texas Universities Seek Billions for Construction, Renovation
AUSTIN, Texas — A number of universities across Texas are seeking funding for multi-million construction and renovation projects in the coming legislative session, adding up to approximately $3 billion in funding requests.


LARAMIE, Wyo. — A new science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) building will debut on the University of Wyoming campus in Laramie later this spring.
KALAMAZOO, Mich. — Students of the Washington Writers’ Academy in Kalamazoo, Mich. returned to their new, “old” school on Jan. 5 after construction on the historic building had relocated them since mid-2013.
Trustees of Campbell University, located in Buies Creek, N.C., have named J. Bradley Creed the university’s next president. Creed is currently provost and professor of religion at Samford University, prior to which he served as dean of the George W. Truett Seminary at Baylor University. Creed received a Bachelor of Arts in religion from Baylor University, graduating cum laude. He later earned a master’s degree in divinity and a Ph.D.
