Spectronics Corp., which produces a variety of ultraviolet equipment and fluorescent materials for use in university laboratories, announced the promotion of Michael Fleming to director of product management. Fleming first joined the company 19 years ago as a sales application engineer, eventually moving to product manager and national sales manager. Before joining Spectronics, Fleming worked in the research and engineering labs of both Pall Corp. and Knogo North America.
Tarkett has announced new product updates to its heterogeneous sheet flooring product, Acczent. The previous collection, including one steel and 18 wood visual flooring designs, will now expand to 25 wood, six concrete, four Zen and four Tisse options. NEW YORK — Henry Mancini Arts Education (HMAE) has announced plans to bring performing arts curriculum and instruction to middle and high school students digitally. HMAE, a web-based organization founded by Midland, Pa.-based Lincoln Park Performing Arts Center (LPPAC) and partners, will offer an estimated 3,000 online lessons in dance, music, theater, visual arts and cross-disciplinary studies to students via tablets, smart phones, laptops and computers. The lessons will be available to students in traditional schools, as well as home school and virtual school learners.
