Architectural Lighting Works, an international manufacturer of high-performance, commercial luminaires designed for use in office, retail, hospitality, civic and educational environments announced the release of its new product, Clara. Available in linear-suspended and wall-sconce models, Clara provides designers a bold new aesthetic from which to deliver energy-efficient, high-performance LED lighting. Clara’s distinguishing feature is its hollow, oval-lensed body in which LEDs shine through and around providing both direct and indirect illumination. Specifiable in clear and semi-frosted options, the lensed body is formed from a co-extruded, impact-resistant acrylic with an array of thin white lines running throughout the length of the lens. Delivering 89-plus lumens per watt, the competitively priced Clara is available in 3000K and 4000K CCT at 80+ CRI.
