Temporary Productivity Space

The fall 2020 semester has shown that schooling-at-home/virtual learning may be a long-term reality for many. Finding a quiet space at home to serve as a temporary classroom or workspace can be difficult for those who do not have a room to spare. Longtime friends and neighbors Robbie Friedman and Allison Zofan experienced the struggle first-hand so after identifying a need for a temporary “third space”, they created ootBox.

ootBox is a start-up company looking to reinvent expectations for a temporary productivity space. Made from 10-foot traditional shipping containers, ootboxes are beautifully designed and fully equipped with HVAC, furnishings, and flooring. ootBox creates the perfect space for students to tune into virtual lessons and have a quiet environment to focus on homework.
