Todd Boyer

Fanning Howey, an architecture, interiors and engineering firm specializing in learning environments, recently announced the addition of R. Todd Boyer, AIA, as a Project Executive in the company’s Dublin, Ohio, office. Boyer will serve K-12 and higher education clients, bringing significant leadership and design expertise to the firm’s Ohio practice.

Boyer’s hiring is part of Fanning Howey’s strategic investment in the continued growth of its Dublin office, which has been a cornerstone of the firm since 1986. “Todd’s depth of design expertise will enhance our goal of designing smarter places for learning,” said Tim Lehman, PE, CEO of Fanning Howey. “We’re excited for our clients to benefit from his diverse background of award-winning projects for K-12 schools, career-technical centers and universities throughout the Columbus metro area and across the country.”

Boyer has a proven track record in leading successful planning and design projects, including The PAST Foundation Innovation Labs in Columbus, Ohio, and 99P Labs, a collaboration between The Ohio State University and Honda. Boyer is a citizen architect with a history of service to the Columbus community and AIA Columbus, a background that aligns perfectly with Fanning Howey’s vision of strengthening communities through the design of learning environments.

Boyer received his Master of Architecture from Arizona State University and his Bachelor of Science in Architecture from The Ohio State University. He was the recipient of AIA Ohio’s 2022 Public Services Service Award and has served as a professional advisor for the Graduate Student Advisor Program at The Ohio State University’s Knowlton School of Architecture. Prior to joining Fanning Howey, Boyer held leadership roles at two major Columbus-area design firms.
